Chapter 1: Memories

*YAWN* I sit up, blinded by the amount of sun
coming through my window. "Ah it's so bright!"

As I go to put my curtains over the window, I look
and see the last portrait my father gave me
 before he disappeared that night. But
what I don't understand is the message he gave me after.
"Look to the sky, for far beyond the emperor is the prize you all seek."
 He was an artist, and would always try and scout
for more adventures and masterpieces.

I walk into the kitchen to see my mother, Tutu, with a blank
stare on her face. She hasn't been her self, ever since father
disappeared.

Kitten: Mother? Can I ask you some questions
about father?
Tutu: Ok, go ahead Kitten. You've always been
the curious out of all of us.
Kitten: Where is father? Why did he tell me what he did?
How did he get to where he is?
Tutu: Ok Kitten, I guess you deserve to the know the truth.
The answer to all of your questions is...

The Phantom Kingdom!!

  1. This looks like it's gonna be interesting!! I can't wait to see more :D

    And I've never seen that problem with blog backgrounds before... let me see if I can help.

    So, if you go to your blog's HTML, press and hold the command key on your keyboard, and then press the F key. A little search box specifically for your HTML should come up. Search this:

    Once you find it, put the following code right above it:

    html, body {
    background: url(INSERT YOUR IMAGE URL HERE) no-repeat center center fixed;
    -webkit-background-size: cover;
    -moz-background-size: cover;
    -o-background-size: cover;
    background-size: cover;
    }

    Like it says, put the url for your background image in the parentheses.

    (I hope this comment displays properly-- sometimes code doesn't display well in comments)

    1. Thanks, Doomy! Kitten is really excited to share the rest of her story :')

      Also, for some reason I don't think the code worked for me :l I typed it in and did what you told me, but on where the glitch of the background was there were a bunch of letters. :( And now I can't adjust if I can have the background scroll with the page or not unfortunately. I've never seen this problem before, so I might have to look to YT videos xD

    2. Dang... This is a weird glitch. Maybe you'll want to remove the background and try again?

      It really stinks that it's so hard to find good updated Blogger tutorials :(

  3. Such a great story! I'm thinking of, maybe on chapter 4 or 5, Kitten would fall in a portal on a search for her father, and then you stop the story, and I continue it on my blog, and you post the same but through Kitten's eyes?

    Hugs,
    vai <3

    P.S: Nala sends hugs to Kitten!

  4. Maybe if you used a site to edit the photos that you made, maybe the picture where kitten sighs, maybe it would look a little better xD
    I love the name Tutu. It's excellent. It's such a cute name :3
    I can't wait to see what comes next! There goes another bookmark on my chromebook.

    2. I'd recommend using Pixlr Art. (The 2nd last letter is an L). I use it to edit stuff sometimes.
